Iced tea is so refreshing on a hot summer day but commercial iced teas are loaded with sugar and valuable antioxidants normally in tea are destroyed in processing. It just makes sense to make your own. Try this easy recipe for a Cool Cuppa.
Prepare a double strength brew of tea, allowing 1 bag or 2 teaspoons of loose tea per cup. After steeping, remove bags or strain. Let cool. Fill a tall glass or glasses with ice. Pour tea over ice. Sweeten as desired. Garnish each glass with a wedge of lemon, lime or orange. This recipe works well with green tea too. Enjoy!
